Our Customers
The customers of the Leasehold Guidance Service are generally individuals:
- researching how to start the right to manage process possibly to report back to a future residents meeting;
- who would like to extend their lease but are unsure of the cost or procedure and therefore want to know more, before instructing a Surveyor/Legal Advisor;
- researching how to start the process of buying the freehold.
Getting started is daunting and the Ringley Group has developed the Leasehold Guidance Service website to address the need for information and understanding before a customer is ready to commit to actually instructing a Surveyor.
Leasehold Guidance Service customers will receive a package of services from the Ringley Group. Typically a customer will pick and choose what product they need, when they need it. Customers exercising the right to manage or purchasing the freehold of their property will need to convince other leaseholders in the block before proceeding. The Leasehold Guidance Service can help with this too.
Once they are familiar with the service required, our customers usually meet a Chartered Surveyor/Valuer to inspect the property, carry out a valuation and give advice on what premium they should serve on the initial notice.
Right to manage customers will normally talk to our Estates Division for advice on the process and to arrange the set up/transition to full management. Customers will also work with our in-house Legal Services Team to get Participation Notices served.
